White Pine
Group Tours
Starting Nov. 1st and continuing
until just before Christmas we give farm tours to school groups,
church groups, Scouts and sometimes groups of adults. This includes an
educational discussion of Christmas trees, how they are grown and also a demonstration of the Yule trimmer. You get a hay ride
around the farm. You then go to our Hay Bale Studio where we serve hot
chocolate and cookies while you watch a Christmas cartoon on big
screen video. After that, you go back out in the field and watch me
take off with my Maule airplane and drop little toys in the trees for
everyone to have a toy search. We make sure that everyone gets a
little toy. This all takes about an hour and 15 minutes. The cost is $4
per person. There is a minimum charge of $60 for the tour. We can take
groups up
to 150. If you have a small group, we may fit you in with a another
group to make up the minimum.

The Yule Forest
Creed
As a pioneer Christmas tree farm, we are dedicated to making your
visit pleasant and successful in finding that special tree.
We want you back again next year, so we try to give you trees that
hold up well without drying out and shedding needles.
We provide trees like Leyland Cyprus and White Pine trees that require
no artificial coloring and hold up better than some other types
of trees. We like to give you trees that are all natural.

Gorgeous Leyland Cyprus
What Yule Forest Offers
We open on
Thanksgiving Day. We are open every day from 10 AM until dark. We
furnish a saw and a plastic sheet or a cart to bring your tree back on.
You listen to Christmas music and we treat you to hot cider and candy
canes. On weekend afternoons we have hay rides and an occasional toy
drop with the airplane. We have Leyland
Cyprus, White Pine, Red cedar, Diodara Cedar and Carolina Sapphire
trees. The Leyland Cyprus has gotten to be our most popular tree because
it not only is beautiful but it keeps so well and doesn't shed needles.
If you are so inclined you can walk our nature trails through the woods
and if you are really energetic, you can walk the trails down to the
creek. You might see a wild turkey, a deer, a raccoon, a possum, or
plenty of rabbits.
