• FUN ZONE: Bouncy Houses, Slides, Sportsplex, and other outdoor games and activities.

 

• HAYRIDE: All-aboard our tractor hayride for a fantastic trip around our farm and fields.

 

• CORN MAZE: Kids will put their navigation skills to the test as they make their way through the twist and turns of our corn maze.

 

• BEE HOUSE: As one of the most important pollinating insects, bees are a fascinating and beautiful part of farming. At our bee house, children will get to see a live bee hive, learn about the importance of pollination, and try to point out the queen bee.

 

• PUMPKIN MOVIE: Sit down in our barn theater and enjoy a movie about the pumpkins that we grow right here at Yule Forest.

 

• EVOLUTION OF FARMING: Learn about how farming has helped form a vital part of civilization, see where new farming technologies are taking us into the future, and discover what crops the state of Georgia are known for.

 

• S.T.E.M. GARDEN: Students discover how to grow a real garden and the importance of fruits and vegetables for our bodies. Students and teachers will work as a group to plant sunflowers at our planting station that they will take back to their classroom.

 

• FARM FRIENDS EXPERIENCE: Get up close with our wonderful farm animals while learning about what they eat and where they originate from.

 

• PUPPET SHOW: Have a laugh with some farm humor at our live puppet show presentation. Lady Moo Moo and Devin Bacon have a wild and silly time hanging around Yule Forest.

 

• CLASS FLOWER CUP: When your tour is complete, your class will get to pick flowers for a classroom bouquet. One cup per class, more cups are available for purchase. Not included on Homeschool Day but can be purchased.

 

• FREE MINI PUMPKIN: Each person with a paid admission will receive one free mini pumpkin at the end of the tour.

 

• ONLINE EDUCATION PACKET: Grade-appropriate fall learning activities already organized for the teacher. Packets are accessed and downloaded from a link that we will send to each teacher.
